If you could give one piece of advice to a first-year student, what would it be? As a homebody who had a very hard time adjusting to living away from home, give it a chance! My parents told me to try not to come home until Thanksgiving, and it was SO hard at first. But, the longer I stayed on campus, I made friends, joined clubs, and when Thanksgiving eventually rolled around, I actually ended up having a super hard time leaving! It’s going to be a big adjustment, but if you’re open and putting yourself out there, you’re going to find your home away from home! :)
Favorite music artist and TV show? I’m a day 1 Swiftie, so Taylor is always gonna be my first answer. I also love Kelsea Ballerini, Megan Moroney, Sabrina Carpenter, and Kacey Musgraves. For shows, I love a good comfort sitcom… New Girl is the one I always go back to, and I’ll always rewatch Gilmore Girls in the fall.
